BR softball teams in Eastern Championships

Wayne County will be well represented at the 2006 Eastern N.C. Softball Championships to be held at the Sara A. Law Memorial Complex in Winterville beginning on Wednesday.
Five teams from Wayne County made it through the district tourney to represent District 8 at the double-elimination event.
Opening game times are as follows; 10-under (Wed., 2 p.m.), 12-under (Wed., 2 p.m), 14-under (Wed., 6 p.m.), 16-under (Thurs, 4 p.m.), 18-under (Thurs., 8 p.m.).
