Evelyn Rose and Mary Ann Sutton prevailed in the game of the week while Kathy Woodard took low gross and Pete Reaves low net. Brooke Eason claimed low putts for the field.

Te first tournament of the new season was held July 15 at Roanoke Rapids Lake with first place going to the team of John Edwards and Bill Rex with Rex also capturing Big Fish honors. Second place went to Keith Gunnells, while Mike Norwood and John Walsh took third. The next tournament is scheduled for Aug. 19 at the Neuse/Trent Rivers.
