Betsy Clark claimed game-of-the-week honors for weekly tournament play at Lane Tree Golf Course. Betty Jean Gurley captured low net and low putts.
Middle schools
Spring Creek volleyball d. Greenwood 25-7, 13-25, 25-19, 23-25, 15-13 -- Spring Creek emerged the Wayne County Middle School Athletic Conference Division II champion for the first time since 1999. Hannah Brown served six aces for the Gators, while Mallory Frederick contributed four aces. Mitzi Arteaga provided one kill. Stacie Dawson, Mallory Frederick, Luzbeth Avila, Whitney Frederick, Emily Thompson and Mayra Barajas also served well in the five-set win. Spring Creek concluded the year 7-9 overall and 5-1 in Division II.
