Faith Christian heads to state title game

KERNERSVILLE -- Faith Christian's impressive season is nearing a close -- with a state title within its sights.
The Conquerors broke open a four-point game at the end of three quarters with a 25-point fourth period to beat Kerwin Baptist 60-44 on Friday evening.
Aaron Sladick once again led the Conquerors as he recorded a double-double with 20 points and 13 rebounds. Jeremy Sandlin added 12 points and T.J. Sasser chipped in with 12.
Faith Christian (25-3) went for the N.C. Christian Schools Athletic Association State Title on Saturday night when they faced Woodland Baptist.
