Prep playoff pairings

The N.C. High School Athletic Association officially released the pairings for the women's soccer and men's dual-team tennis playoffs on Sunday afternoon.
In soccer, Eastern Wayne (12-7) kicks off 3-A classification play with a home contest Wednesday evening against Coastal 8 Conference member D.H. Conley. Charles B. Aycock (10-10-1) is the guest of West Carteret.
On the 1-A scene, Rosewood (10-5) plays host to archrival Princeton, which received a wild-card invitation.
In tennis, two-time defending Eastern Carolina 3-A Conference champion Eastern Wayne (14-3) welcomes D.H. Conley for a Tuesday afternoon match. ECC runner-up C.B. Aycock (13-8) visits perennial power Washington.
Rosewood (5-7) travels to Topsail in the 1-A ranks.
