Lane Tree Golf Course
Libby Newsome emerged the low net and low putt winner during weekly tournament play at Lane Tree. Shelley Leder fired a hole-in-one on No. 2.
Walnut Creek Ladies Golf
Kathy Woodard (1st gross), Linda Watson (1st net) and Jewel Ivey (low putts) fared well among the Championship Flight winners in an invitational tournament.
Mary Morris recorded first low net in the second flight, while Linda Cannon had second low net in the third flight. Betty Holloway and Joyce Reynolds took low putts in fourth- and fifth-flight play, respectively.
Ivey had closest-to-the pin and Charlotte Campbell claimed the putting event.
The weekly winners at Goldsboro Municipal Golf Course were Watson (low gross), Josie Ottaviani (low net) and Mary Ann Sutton(low putts).
