Linda Cannon emerged the game-of-the-week winner during weekly tournament play at Lane Tree Golf Course.
Betty Jean Gurley and Bunkie Parker won low net and low putts, respectively.
Fishing
Hawg Breath Bass Club
Joe Moye seized first-place honors and landed the day's biggest fish during the August tournament hosted by the Hawg Breath Bass Club on the Neuse/Trent Rivers.
Mike Norwood took second and John Edwards ended up third.
The next tournament is Sept. 15 at Roanoke Rapids Lake.
