Magnus paces Wayne Christian Cross Country

MONTROSE -- Wayne Christian's cross country team participated in a meet at the Carolina Horse Park on Saturday.

Josh Magnus finished first on the boys side with a time of 17 minutes, 34 seconds. Justin Brathwhite ended with a time of 21:29.

Charity Wright was the Eagles top runner, finishing the course in a time of 26:30. Kayla Kennedy finished just off Wright's pace at 29:59.

The Eagles did not accumulate overall team scores. Wayne Christian returns to action today at Goldsboro.
