* Soccer -- Norwayne defeated Grantham 4-2 on Monday. Jose Rodriguez, Trey Millard, Juan Pina and Bryan Johnson each scored for Norway. Cameron Taylor, Chase Thompson, Johnson and Pina all tallied assists. Norwayne (6-3-2) travels to Rosewood on Thursday.

* Soccer -- Benito Avila recorded the hat trick (three goals) as Eastern Wayne defeated Brogden 8-3 on Monday afternoon. Jae Kim (two goals), Tyler Muehlenthaler (two goals) and Tyler Brown (one goal, three assists) each got into the scoring act. Megan McCalese contributed an assist. The Warriors (10-2-0) carry an eight-game win streak into Thursday's regular-season finale at Mount Olive.

* Volleyball -- Norwayne needed just three games to knock off Grantham 25-14, 25-12, 25-10 on Monday afternoon. Conner Davis had 14 service points for the Cobras. Imari Howell finished with 11 service points, and Ragan Herndon added nine. Norwayne (13-0 overall) concludes regular-season play Thursday at Rosewood.
