* Goldsboro boys 62, Greenville Rose 53 -- Michael Sawyer led the Cougars with 12 points. Adan Hobbs scored 10 and Xavier Knight and Tyree Boseman each added eight.
Middle schools
* Norwayne boys 33, Grantham 32 -- A.J. Mundle and Jalen Williams each scored eight points for Norwayne (2-4, 1-1) and Kareem Allwar added seven. Grantham's Keenan Winn led all scorers with 12 points. Norwayne travels to Eastern Wayne today.
* Norwayne girls 32, Grantham 12 -- Courtnei Gilbert and Imari Howell both scored six points for Norwayne. Jamika Bowen led Grantham with five points. Norwayne (6-0, 2-0) visits Eastern Wayne today while Grantham faces Greenwood.
