ECU beats Campbell

Brad Mincey supplied six strong innings on the mound and Jamie Ray pounded out three hits as East Carolina dumped Campbell 9-3 on Wednesday evening.
Mincey (3-0) permitted three runs on six hits with four strikeouts. Seth Simmons posted his first career save with a career-best, five-strikeout effort in three innings of work.
Ray collected three RBI. Brandon Henderson and Corey Kemp contributed three hits and one RBI apiece.
The Pirates (29-13 overall) finished with 12 hits.
