Hillcats use HR to beat K-Tribe

Chris Jones mashed a two-run homer off reliever Kinston reliever Heath Taylor and lifted Lynchburg to a 7-5 victory Thursday evening at historic Grainger Stadium.
The Hillcats led 4-0 before Kinston answered with a four-run, fifth-inning uprising. The K-Tribe benefited from a two-run scoring error, and back-to-back RBI hits from Beau Mills and Jared Goedert.
Taylor took the mound loss.
The teams continue their series today.
