Hillcats take series opener from K-Tribe

Kinston erased three-run deficits twice, but Lynchburg held on for an 8-7 victory Thursday evening.
The Hillcats posted two eighth-inning runs and improved to 4-1 against the K-Tribe this season.
Alex Castillo and Nick Weglarz ripped homers for Kinston.
