Once the rain stopped Sunday afternoon, Potomac's batters poured out a series-high 13 hits in an 8-2 victory over Kinston at historic Grainger Stadium.
The Cannons delivered two-home run bombs in the second and third innings. Potomac collected five earned runs on six hits through the first four innings.
Beau Mills had an RBI single for the K-Tribe.
