DUDLEY -- Wayne County South dropped a 3-1 decision to Farmville on Thursday evening.
Will Beasley took the loss on the mound allowing two runs on just two hits with two strikeouts and five walks in 42/3 innings of work.
Keenan Winn allowed one run on two hits with two strikeouts and three walks in 21/3 innings of relief.
Matt Neal led the Wayne County's offense with two hits. Cody Richards (RBI), Corey Howell and Scott Holloman each added hits.
Wayne County South (7-2 overall) visits Wayne County North at 7 p.m. today.
