Mayorson's hit lifts Carolina

Manuel Mayorson pounded out a three-run, eighth-inning hit as Carolina squeezed past Huntsville 9-8 at Five County Stadium on Tuesday.
Mayorson finished the game 4-for-5.
Chris Mobley retired the Stars on three strikeouts in the ninth inning and earned his 11th save of the season.
