K-Tribe whips Potomac 6-1

Jason Denham and Jerad Head combined for RBI hits as Kinston cruised past Potomac 6-1 at historic Grainger Stadium on Sunday.
Denham provided a two-out, two-run double in the fourth inning and an RBI double in the sixth. Head connected on an RBI triple in the fifth.
Hector Rondon, the Carolina League leader with 89 strikeouts, threw five scoreless innings against the Nationals. Mike Finocchi threw a perfect seventh and Matt Meyer tossed the final two innings.
The series continues today.
