MOC women see 8-game win streak come to an end

GAFFNEY, S.C. -- Senior point guard Kaileigh West pumped in 19 points and Limestone handed Mount Olive a 76-64 loss in Conference Carolinas play Saturday afternoon.

The Saints (14-4 overall, 8-0 CC) remained the league's lone unbeaten team in conference play.

Tamara Nesmith scored 16 points for the Trojans, who suffered their first league loss of the season and had their eight-game win streak snapped. Andrea Jones scored 14 points, while Jasmine McDonald chipped in 13.

Alyssa Luebs contributed 12 points and recorded team highs in rebounds (eight) and assists (five).

MOC fell to 12-4 overall and 6-1 in league play.
