MOUNT OLIVE -- Mario Aguilar, TJ Wilson and Decardo Cole were among Mount Olive College's top competitors during the season-opening University of North Carolina Indoor Track Invitational.

Aguilar, a Southern Wayne alum, placed second in his section and 13th overall in the men's 200 meters with a time of 24.34 seconds.

Wilson, a Princeton High grad, narrowly missed NCAA-qualifying marks in the men's long jump (6.87 meters) and triple jump (14.16 meters). Wilson earned fifth place overall in the long jump and fourth in the triple jump.

Princeton High alum Cole cleared 1.91 meters-- good enough for third overall in the men's high jump.
