* TRENTON -- Sarah Ford and Hailey Jones combined for a five-hitter and five strikeouts inside the pitcher's circle, and Spring Creek pounded out a 17-7, non-conference win over Jones Senior.

Ford and Katlyn Casey each swatted an inside-the-park home run.

Janna Price and Sydney Ocker had two hits apiece. Hailey Jones, Martha Morton and Taiesha Morgan each contributed one hit.

"Every player crossed the plate at some point in the game," first-year SC head coach Lester Boltinhouse said. "This was the best team effort thus far, and I still see this team going nowhere but up from here."
