MOUNT OLIVE -- Mount Olive College head women's volleyball coach Sarah Lusk has inked three more freshmen for the 2012-13 academic year.

Jordan Barnes, Danielle Plante and Leanne Quizon join freshmen Nicole Karas and Heather Lucas on the Trojan roster.

A 5-foot-6 defensive standout from Surf City, Barnes earned all-state honors in volleyball and softball at Topsail High School. She plans to pursue a career in criminal justice after college.

Plante, a 5-9 outside hitter from Fuquay-Varina, picked up Carolina Regional all-region honors and all-conference honors at Fuquay-Varina High School. She was a team captain and named her team's Most Valuable Player. Named to the National Technical Honor Society in high school, Plante is a recreational therapy major and plans to become a recreational therapist.

Quizon, a 4-11 libero/defensive specialist from Las Vegas, was an all-conference selection at Daegu High School in Daegu, Korea. Off the court, Quizon was class valedictorian and student council president. Her post-collegiate plans are to go to graduate school for pharmacy and nursing.

Mount Olive's 19-player roster also includes three sophomores, nine juniors and two seniors.
