Barton senior goalie Vasily Yakimkin made two saves en route to his first win. MOC sophomore Aleksandar Drobac logged three saves.

The Trojans entertain USC Aiken on Saturday. Kickoff is 4 p.m. at Amon Field.

WILSON -- Sophomore forward Jodi Barber collected the "golden goal" in the 106th minute, lifting Barton to a 1-0 double-overtime win over Mount Olive College in a Conference Carolinas contest Wednesday evening.

The Bulldogs defeated the Trojans for the first time 2008.

Barber beat MOC freshman goalkeeper Stephanie McCoy to a crossing pass at the top of the 18-yard box served by senior Taylor Parrish. Barber made a beautiful touch to her left and then was able to chip in a tough angle shot into the back of an empty net to end the game.

The Trojans finished with a 14-8 shot advantage, with Barnes taking five attempts including four on frame. The Lady Bulldogs held a 7-4 corner kick edge.

MOC (1-5-1 overall, 0-2-0 CC) travel to Converse (S.C.) College on Saturday. The Conference Carolinas match kicks off at 6 p.m.
