Matthew Whittle is a recent graduate of The University of Virginia with a bachelor of arts in American Politics, a minor in history and two years of rugby under his belt. He has worked for the Page News and Courier in his hometown of Luray,Va. where he was recognized by the Virginia Press Association. Prior to coming to the News-Argus, Whittle worked in Tarboro at The Daily Southerner where he covered almost every beat imaginable, from local government to community news to features to arts and entertainment. He is a diehard Cavalier and Redskins fan
