Rudy Coggins —
Sports Editor

Rudy Coggins is a graduate of East Carolina University and a veteran sportswriter. He served as sports editor at the The Daily Citizen-News in Dalton, Ga., and The Daily Southerner in Tarboro. He was a sportswriter with the Wilson Daily Times before joining the News-Argus. Rudy is one of the top wrestling and tennis writers in the state.

After serving as a sports writer for a number of years, Coggins was named Sports Editor in June of 2007.
