Alwahishi - Braswell

Alesia Denise Braswell of Siler City and Abdrabo Nasser Alwahishi of Selma were wed Aug. 7 at 3 p.m.

Imman Mohammed and Charles McBride officiated at the single-ring ceremony at Quality Inn.

The bride is the daughter of Margaret Raynor Braswell of Goldsboro and the late George Herman Braswell. She is the granddaughter of the late Thomas Raynor, the late Pearl Cox Raynor and the late Ottis and Isabelle Braswell.

The groom is the son of Nasser and Faniah Alwahishi of Yemen. He is the grandson of the late Nasser Alwahishi.

After a wedding trip to Wilmington, the couple is residing in Selma.
