Lane - Cotton

Miranda Leanne Cotton and Jerry Thomas Lane of Mount Olive were wed Sept. 11 at 4 p.m.

Carl Bartlette officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Grantham Church of God.

James D. and Carol N. Cotton of Mount Olive are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Joyce Head Newcomb of Goldsboro, the late Ruffie Newcomb of Dudley, Verda Cotton of Mount Olive and the late L.N. Cotton.

Larry Lane of Dudley and the late Frances R. Lane are parents of the groom. He is the grandson of the late Lillie Mae Lane of Dudley.

After a wedding trip to Nassau, Bahamas, the couple is residing in Grantham.
