Mrs. Kincaid

KINSTON — Sara Marie Andrews of Dudley and Brandon Scott Kincaid exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 14 at 2 p.m. at Kennedy Home Chapel, with Gregory Kincaid officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Haywoood and Marie Andrews of Goldsboro and Terry and Karen Wallace and the granddaughter of Carl and Doris Andrews of Pikeville and Frances Hicks and the late Rupolph Hicks of Garner.

She graduated from Spring Creek High school and attends Wayne Community. She is employed at Food Lion.

The groom is the son of Greg and Carla Kincaid of Goldsboro and the grandson of E. Marine Kincaid and the late Brenda Kincaid of LaGrange and Carlos and Janet Taylor of Robson, W.Va..

He graduated from Eastern Wayne High School and attends East Carolina University to become a teacher. He is employed at Spring Creek Elementary School.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a formal gown of white satin with a strapless neckline. The bodice was enhanced with asymmetrical gatherings leading to a rhinestone broach. The A-line skirt flowed into a chapel-length train.

Her headpiece was a tiara of rhinestones and crystals that ended in a one-tiered veil of silk illusion trimmed in silver bugle beads.

The bride carried a bouquet of persimmon-colored day lilies adorned with baby’s breath and Gerber daises.

Jessica Hogan was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Leigh Kennedy and Jaboha Sneed.

Jonathan Kincaid was best man.

Groomsmen were Thomas Oliver and Bradley Carr.

Annabelle Kincaid was flower girl. T.J. Wallace was ringbearer.

Nancy Gladson directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Jessica Wallace.

A program of wedding music was provided by Gail Stovall, pianist, and Bradley Carr, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, family hosted a reception at Kennedy Home. Kim Davis, Barbara Byers, Anna Hogan, Jackye Cushing and Elaine Andrews were servers.

After their wedding cruise to the Caribbean, the couple will reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a girls’ night out hosted by Kim Davis and Barbara Byers during which time the bride presented gifts to her attendants and showers hosted by Neuse Baptist Church, Brogden United Methodist Church and Spring Creek Elementary.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Neuse Baptist Church.
