Nikki Marie Barbour of Goldsboro and Bradley Dean Kornegay of Snow Hill exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 4 at 5 p.m. at the Crystal Coast Civic Center in Morehead City, with pastor Greg Kincaid officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Michael Stephen Barbour of Belhaven and Darryl and Terry Lisa Smith of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Kinsey Rease Honeycutt, the late Joyce Ann Honeycutt, Rhonda Latif Rawls and the late Ray Rawls of Goldsboro and Dwight “Bob” and Dee Barbour of Myrtle Beach, S.C.
She graduated from Rosewood High School in 2005. She is employed as a restaurant manager with S and J Foods of Wilson.
The groom is the son of Randy Dean and Brenda Kornegay of Snow Hill and Theresa Bunn Kornegay of Maury and the grandson of Essie “Viola” Kornegay, the late Eldridge Bryd Kornegay and the late Richard Eugene and Helen Marie Bunn of Kinston.
He graduated from Greene Central High School in 2004. He is employed as an heating and air conditioning technician at Ed Phillips Inc. of Kinston.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a white wedding gown with flowing chiffon over satin with a halter neckline embellished with bugle beads, crystals and seed pearls. The empire waist was enhanced with ruching detail and flowed into an A-line skirt.
Her headpiece was a sheer single-tiered fingertip-length headdress encrusted with diamonds and pearls.
The bride carried a clutch bouquet of princess calla lilies with the stems bound by white satin ribbon with ocean-inspired foliage.
Tracy Bailey was matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Amy Smith, Shannon Daughtry and Cassie Kornegay.
Daniel Hunnings was the best man.
Groomsmen were Josh Smith, Clark Flowers and Jonathan Stroud.
Hannah and Hailey Smith were flower girls. Noah Smith was the ringbearer.
Rhonda Honeycutt directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Jennifer Baker. Kendall Palmer and Hailey Altizer distributed the programs.
Rhonda and Richard Honeycutt, Sarah Crowe and Susan and Wayne Palmer were special helpers.
Following the ceremony a reception was held at the Crystal Coast Civic Center.
The couple will reside in Goldsboro.
Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower Aug. 8 hosted by family and friends.
