</p>

<p>
The bride is the daughter of Bobby H. Fields of Pikeville and the granddaughter of the late William Wright Fields and Zilphia Velena Gurley of Goldsboro.
</p>

<p>
She attended Rosewood High School and graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education and a MAEd in instructional technology. She is employed as a first-grade teacher.
</p>

<p>
The groom is the son of Lloyd Pinkard Byrd Jr. and Anne Marie Byrd of Auburn and the grandson of the late Lloyd Pinkard Byrd Sr. and Alice Jones Byrd of Bassett, Va., and Mrs. Francis Pisciotti and the late Mr. Pisciotti of Auburn.
</p>

<p>
He attended Auburn High School. He is employed as a delivery supervisor with Mim&rsquo;s Distributing Co.
</p>

The bride was given in marriage by father.
</p>

She wore a satin ivory pickup gown with a beaded and embroidered peridot sash. 
</p>

<p>
Her headpiece was a fingertip veil outlined in peridot-colored trim. 
</p>

The bride carried a bouquet of white roses and stephanotis stuffed with peridot pearls in the center.
</p>

<p>
Paige Shepard was maid of honor.
</p>

Bridesmaids were Beth Wade, Janie Byrd and Mrs. Alex Priddy.

Jason Byrd and Robbie Byrd were best men.

</p>

<p>
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Preston Parker of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of Beatrice Best Thornton, the late Kirby Howard Thornton, Ruth Martin Parker and the late Louis Outlaw Parker of Mount Olive.
</p>

<p>
She is a graduate of Southern Wayne High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology. She was presented at the 2003 Debutante Ball. She is employed as a certified echocardiography at Raleigh-Durham Medical Group-Cardiology.
</p>

<p>
The groom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Harry Douglas Hobson and Dwight Lee Campbell of Shelby and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hutchins and Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Bradley of Ellenboro, Mr. and Mrs. James Campbell of Hollis and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Hobson of Russellville, Ohio.
</p>

<p>
He is a graduate of Shelby High School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a Bachelor of Science degree in chemistry and a minor in biology. He attends the University of North Carolina School of Medicine.
</p>

<p>
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
</p>

<p>
She wore a formal strapless gown of embroidered ivory Alencon lace over pearl satin. The bodice had a dropped waistline that flowed into an A-line skirt. Embellishments of crystals and sequins decorated the back of the gown and along the sweetheart neckline. A semi-cathedral train trimmed with matching crystals, seed pearls and sequins complemented the gown. She also wore an heirloom diamond watch given to her by her late aunt, Margaret Martin.
</p>

<p>
The bride carried a clutch bouquet of ivory roses, white cymbidium orchids, freesia, tulips, green miniature hydrangeas and hypericum berries encircled with variegated greenery wrapped in ivory satin ribbon.
</p>

<p>
Michele Leigh Parker of Garner was her sister-in-law&rsquo;s matron of honor.
</p>

<p>
Bridesmaids were Robin Leer Peacock of Roanoke, Va., Heather Suzanne Beaman and Kristina Kelley Joyner of Mount Olive, friends of the bride, and Bridget Gail Parvin of Mount Olive, cousin of the bride.
</p>

<p>
Clay Christopher Campbell of Raleigh was his brother&rsquo;s best man.
</p>

<p>
Groomsmen were Dwight Lee Campbell, father of the groom; Dr. Harry Douglas Hobson, stepfather of the groom; Alexander Douglas Hobson of Shelby, stepbrother of the groom; Dustin Patrick Byers of Ellenboro, cousin of the groom; and Wesley Preston Parker of Garner, brother of the bride.

Ushers were Andrew Alan Davenport of Durham, James Pascal Norris and Matthew Salazar Surrusco of Carrboro, friends of the groom.

Honorary bridesmaids were Natalie Parvin Griffin of Mt. Pleasant, S.C., and Ashley Parvin Jackson of Mount Olive, cousins of the bride.

Anna Elizabeth Draughon of Fayetteville, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Dylan Compton Draughon of Fayetteville, cousin of the bride, was ringbearer.

Margaret Ann Parvin of Mount Olive, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Jenny Leigh Grady of Mount Olive, friend of the bride. Jessica Leigh Best of Mount Olive, friend of the bride, distributed orders of worship.
</p>

<p>
A program of wedding music was provided by Stan Benton of Clinton, organist; Jimmy Martin of Goldsboro, vocalist; and Paige Vickory Barwick of Mount Olive, friend of the couple, and Carolina Thornton Sutton and Cameron Elizabeth Sutton of Clinton, cousins of the bride, violinists.
</p>

<p>
Following the ceremony, the bride&rsquo;s parents hosted a dinner and dance reception at Walnut Creek County Club. Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Norman Ricks III of Mount Olive, friends of the family and Mr. and Mrs. Rodney Sheldon Price of Ellenboro, uncle and aunt of the groom, greeted  guests. Mr. and Mrs. Mike Kinder of Raleigh, cousins of the bride, presiding at the register. Judith Thornton Griffin of Clinton, aunt of the bride, and Shirley Scarborough Lee of Buies Creek, cousin of the bride, served the wedding cake. Sarah Michael Hutchins, cousin of the groom, distributed rice bags. Karen Thornton Sutton of Clinton was director, assisted by Susan Sanderson Lasater and Sue Jackson Beaman of Mount Olive.

After a wedding trip to Kaua&rsquo;i, Hawaii, the couple resides in Durham.

He is a 2002 graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a 2008 graduate of East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Science degree in accounting. He is employed as a certified public accountant at Kenneth E. Banks.

She wore an A-line white Italian satin gown with a halter-style neckline embellished with crystal beading accented with silver embroidery. The skirt flowed into a royal train decorated with matching beaded embroidery.

Her headpiece was a one-tiered veil silk illusion trimmed with crystal floral designs.
</p>

<p>
The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of green cymbidium orchids, vogue roses and green hypercium berries. The stems were wrapped with hot pink ribbon with a braid of apple green ribbon with pearls in the middle.
</p>

<p>
Tina Kornegay of Princeton was her sister&rsquo;s matron of honor. 
</p>

<p>
Bridesmaids were Angie Walston of LaGrange and Crystal Gray of LaGrange and Jordan Duke of Greenville, cousins of the groom, and Christen Cherry of Mount Olive, friend of the bride.
</p>

Rayburn Brown was his son&rsquo;s best man.

She graduated from North Duplin High School and Wayne Community College. She is employed as general manager at Petco in Knightdale.

The groom is the son of Dr. Joseph and Glennis Mossey of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the University of Victoria. He received his commission in the Royal Canadian Navy.

The bride carried an arrangement of peonies and white roses wrapped, tied and knotted with her great-grandmother&rsquo;s handkerchief and pinned with a pin that belonged to her great-grandmother. She also carried a handkerchief given to her by the groom&rsquo;s mother.

The bride is the daughter of Bobby Allen Brock Jr. and Dianne Edwards Brock of Goldsboro, the granddaughter of Bobby A. Brock Sr. of Kinston and the late Carolyn Ellis Munn, Louise Watkins Edwards and the late Amos L. Edwards of Goldsboro and the stepgranddaughter of Shirley Brock.
</p>

She is a 2002 honor graduate of Southern Wayne High School and a graduate of Wayne Community College with an associate degree. She is employed as a certified medical assistant at Wayne Radiation and Oncology.

The groom is the son of Susan Crumpler Hooker of Goldsboro and the late Corey Brett of Portsmouth, Va., and the grandson of Elizabeth Brett and the late Jerry Brett of Portsmouth and the late Bill and Alma Crumpler of Goldsboro.

He is a 2003 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School and a graduate of the BLET program at Wayne Community College. He is employed as a Wayne County deputy sheriff.

She wore a gown of white lace gown with a scalloped neckline with a fit and flare silhouette. The all-over lace was accented with crystals and clear sequins. The lace of the semi-cathedral train extended beyond the satin lining. 
</p>

Her headpiece was a comb of seed pearls, clear sequins and crystals with a two-tiered veil with each tier edged in sequins, beads and seed pearls along the rounded corner. 
</p>

The bride carried a cascading bouquet of stargazer lilies, red roses, stephanotis and ivy.
</p>

Jessie Finlay was her friend&rsquo;s maid of honor.
</p>

Bridesmaids were Hannah Edwards, cousin of the bride, and Hannah Fox, Melissa Carr and Tina Lancaster, friends of the bride.
