She wore a formal gown of white satin with a strapless neckline. The bodice was enhanced with asymmetrical gatherings leading to a rhinestone broach. The A-line skirt flowed into a chapel-length train.

Her headpiece was a tiara of rhinestones and crystals that ended in a one-tiered veil of silk illusion trimmed in silver bugle beads. 
</p>

The bride carried a bouquet of persimmon-colored day lilies adorned with baby&rsquo;s breath and Gerber daises.

Jessica Hogan was maid of honor.
</p>

<p>
Bridesmaids were Leigh Kennedy and Jaboha Sneed.

Jonathan Kincaid was best man.

Events held before the wedding included a girls&rsquo; night out hosted by Kim Davis and Barbara Byers during which time the bride presented gifts to her attendants and showers hosted by Neuse Baptist Church, Brogden United Methodist Church and Spring Creek Elementary.

After their wedding trip to the mountains of West Virginia and North Carolina, the couple will reside in Rosewood.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower Sept. 19 at the home of the bride&rsquo;s mother hosted by Christine Roe and Susan Jennette, sisters of the bride; a bridal shower Sept. 26 at Antioch Presbyterian Church hosted by Julie Fail, Dee Fail and Angie Fail, aunts of the groom; a girls&rsquo; night out party Oct. 10 at Torrero&rsquo;s Restaurant hosted by Beth Brock; and a bridal shower Oct. 13 at Goldsboro Orthopedics Association hosted by Dana Smith, Beth Greene and Heather White.

Her headpiece was a fingertip-length two-tiered veil with a beaded scallop edge, beaded flowers and sequins.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of red and cream roses tied with ivory satin ribbon and pearl studs. Entwined in her bouquet was a rosary blessed by Pope John Paul II given to the bride by her grandmother, the late Mrs. George W. Fisher Jr.

Jennifer Fisher McLawhorn of Deep Run was her sister&rsquo;s matron of honor.

Meagan Hux, cousin of the bride, was the flower girl. Gavan Donovan, cousin of the groom, was ringbearer.

Beth Carr directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Anna Powell, cousin of the groom. Ashley Powell, cousin of the groom, distributed the programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Lisa Beasley, pianist, and Lisa Beasley, vocalist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held in the church fellowship hall. Summer Teague cut the wedding cake.

After their wedding trip to Jamacia, the couple will reside in Smithfield.
</p>

Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous wedding shower June 16 hosted by Sanders Chapel United Methodist Church; a wedding shower June 19 hosted by Riccobene Associates; a wedding shower June 28 hosted by Pine Forest United Methodist Church; a wedding shower July 19 hosted by the groom&rsquo;s family; and a bachelorette party and lingerie shower Aug. 1 hosted by Kristy Bridgers.

The groom&rsquo;s family hosted a barbecue rehearsal dinner at Pamona Creech building in Smithfield.
