Sara Louise Boltinhouse of LaGrange, N.C., and Jacob Hunter Jones of Humnoke, Ark., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 28, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Erwin, with the Rev. Ronnie Wise officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Lester and Beverly Boltinhouse of LaGrange. She is the granddaughter of Roswell Henderson and the late Retha Henderson of Orlando, Fla., and Mary Lou Boltinhouse and the late Charles Boltinhouse of Goldsboro.
She is a 2015 magna cum laude graduate of Campbell University with a Bachelor of Science degree in clinical research with a minor in biology. Sara is a 2019 Campbell University Doctor of Pharmacy candidate.
The groom is the son of Jeryl and Cindy Jones of Humnoke, Ark., and grandson of Helen Jones and the late James Jones of Cabot, Ark. and Dorothy Jean Brown and the late Dwayne Brown of Humnoke, Ark.
He is a 2017 summa cum laude graduate of Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife fisheries and aquaculture. Jacob is a science teacher with Wayne County Public Schools.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a full-length mermaid lace gown with a full train. Her double-tiered sheer veil featured sequined trim. She carried a large hand-tied bouquet of fresh white lilies and roses, lavender flowers from her mother’s bouquet and mementos.
The matron of honor was MaryBeth Hertz of Johnson City, Tenn., cousin of the bride. The maid of honor was Madeline McLean of Greensboro, N.C., friend of the bride. Bridesmaids were Rachel Jones, sister of the groom, of Humnoke, Ark.; Brittany Minahan of Goldsboro; and Sara Hoyek of Cary.
The flower girl was Ava Aukes, niece of the groom, of Lonoke, Ark.
Story Moeller of Ruston, La., friend of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Colton Isbell, cousin of the groom, of Humnoke, Ark.; Douglas Boltinhouse, brother of the bride, of Greenville, N.C.; Austin Reed of Carlisle, Ark., and Kris Kindborg of Staten Island, N.Y.
Karen Hunt directed at the wedding. Presiding at the register were Lindsey Thornton and Angel Kennedy.
Music for the ceremony was provided by Mrs. Dorothy Crocker.
A reception followed at Howard House in Dunn.
After a honeymoon trip to Asheville, N.Ca., the couple resides in Smithfield.
The rehearsal dinner was hosted by Ron and Lisa Page at their home in Mount Olive.
Other events held before the wedding included bridal showers at the bride’s church, Unity Baptist Church in Mount Olive, the groom’s church, Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Humnoke, Ark., and the home of Tammy Kennedy in Mount Olive.
