Biscuitville, the popular North Carolina-based biscuit restaurant, is set to open a location in Shallotte following the town Board of Aldermen's approval of the restaurant's special use permit request on Monday, May 2.
The restaurant, which will feature a drive-thru, will be located at 4425 Main Street, directly adjacent to the future Hwy 55 location.
The Shallotte location, which Biscuitville Chief Development Officer Blake Jennings said they expect to open in six to nine months, will be open from 5:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The drive-thru will follow the Chick-Fil-A model, Jennings noted, with double lanes and employees outside taking orders to speed up the process.
This Biscuitville will be the first in Brunswick County and the first in the region. Currently, the nearest Biscuitvilles are in Fayetteville, Laurinburg and Florence, South Carolina.
