Debbie Little Parker, 61, of Ash, N.C. went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Wednesday, April 12, 2023, at her home. Debbie was born in Whiteville, N.C. on November 21, 1961. She was a daughter of the late McKinley Taft Little and Minnie Rebecca Phelps Little. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael James Parker and grandson, Daniel Austin Little. Survivors include her son, Daniel Heith Little; brother, Kenneth Little (Lisa) of Whiteville; sister, Sue Hightower of Wadesboro, N.C.; two grandchildren, Tristen Little, Cole Little; and one great-grandchild, Weston Carter Little. Debbie was a Mama and Gramma to those nearest and dearest to her and took great pride in them. She was a strong christian woman and was devoted to studying and reading her bible. She always took pride in her work no matter what it may be, whether a waitress at her parents’ restaurant, Becky’s Seafood in the Sticks, or house cleaning for clients who became friends. She will be greatly missed by many. In accordance to her wishes, a family burial will be held privately at a later date. The family requests with gratitude that any donations be made in her memory to the Lower Cape Fear Life Care, “Brunswick House” at 955 Mercy Lane, Bolivia, N.C., 28422.
