Ladies of the Links at Brick Landing
The Ladies of the Links at Brick Landing held their annual member/member competition over two days, April 20 and 22. The format was a modified Stableford, net best-ball event. Top finishing teams were Ginger Bryant and Ann Cunningham (102), Lynne Berkowsky and Re Racer (98), Chris Madden and Vicki Brower (96). Birdie chip-ins were made by Carol Ellis on No. 5 and Lynn Westley on No. 15. Results for April 19 on Tiger’s Eye with 32 players competing in a four-man team event. Teams teed off on red tees for holes 1-6, gold tees for holes 7-12, and white tees for holes 13-18. First place was Jim Vosburg, Rusty Grunewalder, Doug Smith and Tom O’Connell (-23). Second place was Jerry Hannon, Gordon Wicke, Rich Rudnicki and Steve Wanzer (-20). Third place was Mike Spivey, Bob Dugan, Jim Peters and Larry Wright (-19).
Results for April 19 for the Alternate L/P League on Panther’s Run with 24 players competing in a four-man team event. First place was Larry Terrell, George Cassidy, Jim Richards and Mark Nelson (-28). Second place was John Balog, Vince Barbera, Joe Quaglia and Andy Ondek (-27). Third place was Harry Schnitzer, Steve McCreedy, Chuck Malizewski, and John Olio (-26).
