The Rev. Adam Street will begin his ministry as pastor of Madison Avenue Baptist Church on Sunday.
He and his wife, Michelle, and their four children — Autumn, Taylor, Nick and Nathan — come to Goldsboro from London, Kentucky. Street was formerly associate pastor of Calvary Baptist Church.
The pastor search committee at Madison Avenue has been active for the past 22 months. During that time, Dr. Randy Outland from Kinston served as interim minister.
Adam Street was born in Spindale. He received his associate of arts degree in religion/church ministries at Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute and bachelor of arts in Christian studies from North Greenville University. He is pursuing his master of arts in Christian education/leadership at Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.
