Congratulations to PepsiCo for its recent purchase of Israeli seltzer company SodaStream.

No doubt this transaction was done primarily because SodaStream is a money maker.

But in so doing, PepsiCo has defied the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) movement, begun by the World Council of Churches and the National Council of Churches, and which tries to punish the Jews for wanting to live in peace in the homeland that God gave to their father, Abraham.

We are told of this in Genesis — chapter 15 and verse 18 — and confirmed in many other scriptures.

The SodaStream plant in Rahat, Israel, currently employs about 2,500 workers including many Bedouin Arabs. Plans have been made to build another plant nearby that will employ several hundred more.

As strange as it may seem, the BDS movement has many supporters among American churches, including some with congregations in Goldsboro. Why?

Dear reader, is your church one of those?
