• Second annual Peep show will take place at the Arts Council of Wayne County through Sept. 17. It will feature artwork by local artists and art enthusiasts made from marshmallow Peeps. There is a chance to vote for your favorite Peep creation and help raise money for local non-profits. Free.

• “Cars on Center: The Golden Age of the Automobile in Goldsboro” exhibit will be at the Wayne County Museum through Sept. 29. The exhibit will explore the many car dealerships and the car culture of downtown’s Center Street from the 1940s through the 1960s. In addition to the photos of dealers and cars gone by, there will be vintage toy cars, models, car collectibles and car memorabilia and accessories on display. There will also be drive-bys of various local car clubs and vintage car shows in the parking lot several weekends to be announced later. Free.
