The 33rd Pickle Festival Car Show, presented by the Wayne County Cruisers Car Club, will be held Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Center Street in Mount Olive. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. with an entry fee of $20. There will be specialty awards and trophies.

The Central-Eastern Wayne alumni will meet 6 p.m. at Woods Chapel Church on April 8. Scholarship applications are ready for pickup. People who have not received an alumni letter are asked to call 919-344-3983, 919-922-9995, 919-396-4949 or 919-273-3136.

The organ dedication concert planned for Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Hazel Waters Kornegay Assembly Hall at the University of Mount Olive has been postponed due to repairs being made to the hall as a result of Hurricane Florence.
