Wayne Community College was recently named a finalist for a Bellwether Award, a national citation that recognizes communty colleges’ best practices. The “Clearing a Path to Student Success” initiative was recognized in the area of planning, governance and finance. Each category was judged by a panel of national experts, with other categories including instructional programs, and services and workforce development. The finalists presented on their programs and projects recently at the Community College Futures Assembly in San Antonio.
