Norwayne Alumni and Friends will have its 50th annual homecoming weekend Sept. 1 through 4. There will be prayer, spades and bowling Sept. 1, a meet and greet reception and business meeting Sept. 2, 5K walk/run and a parade Sept. 3 and a banquet Sept. 4.

‘STORY OF MOUNT OLIVE’

The Mount Olive Area Historical Society and Steele Memorial Library will co-sponsor a lecture on “The Story of Mount Olive, Part II” by Lynn Williams, assistant corporate secretary and public relations manager, Mt Olive Pickle Co.
