KIWANIS TO MEET

Goldsboro Golden K Kiwanis Club will meet 10 a.m. Tuesday in Daniels Chapel fellowship hall. Speaker will be Brian Withington with the Royal Air Force stationed at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.

4-H CAMP

Wayne County 4-H will have a #Restaurant Challenge camp 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 26 through 28 and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 29 for ages 11 through 18. Cost is $50. Campers will work together as a team to open their own restaurant, create a menu and organize a shopping list. They will tour local restaurants, a grocery store and a farm. Parents can go to the restaurant’s grand opening July 29 from noon to 1 p.m. Information: 919-731-1527.

CARDIO DRUMMING

Steele Memorial Library in Mount Olive will have a cardio drumming class 3 to 4 pm. July 28. Participants use drumsticks, an exercise ball and an exercise ball stand to create a fun workout. Free. Register by calling 919-299-8105.

NARFE TO MEET

Chapter 1830 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association will meet 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Murray’s Barbecue and Seafood Restaurant.

SUMMER CAMP

Wayne County 4-H will have a snack attack camp 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. July 27 for ages 9 and 10. Cost is $15. Campers will make snacks, cook lunch and play games. Information: 919-731-1527.

COWBOY CAMP

Wayne County 4-H will have a Cowboy Up camp 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. July 29 for ages 9 and 10. Cost is $25. Campers will learn about western roping, riding and more. They will visit Cavvietta Quarter Horse and Cattle Co. Wear closed-toe shoes. Information: 919-731-1527.
