The North Carolina Business and Professional Women organization will celebrate its 100th anniversary at the annual statewide convention June 21-22 at the Goldsboro Event Center.

Registrations are available for one or both days of the event. Tickets will not be available at the door. The Goldsboro Event Center is located at 1501 S. Slocumb St.

Registration closes Wednesday.

“This is a wonderful opportunity for professional women and men to come together for networking, education,” said Barbara J. Bozeman, state president for the N.C. Federation of Business and Professional Women’s Clubs.

“Celebrating our 100th anniversary as an organization dedicated to working women helping women work, our convention programs are not to be missed.”

Bozeman is the owner of Sights and Hounds Photography in Goldsboro.

Belk, Inc. is presenting the convention.

The cost for the complete convention for a non-member is $150 and includes one-year membership as a member at large.

The registration fee for Young Careerist candidates is provided by BPW/NC, but hotel and travel arrangements are not included.

The fee for the complete convention (late member registration) is $225.

The cost for the Friday dinner only is $50. The fee for the Friday lunch and afternoon programming for non-BPW member or guest is $50 and includes the afternoon programming.

Filmmakers Ashley Maria and Lea-Ann Berst will the the Friday guests. Their film, “Pioneers in Skirts,” will be screened.

Registration for the Saturday dinner only is $50. The fee for the Saturday lunch and afternoon programming for a non-BPW member or guest also is $50.

Registration for the Saturday only convention is $150 and includes lunch and the officer installation dinner.

Francesca Burack, an international motivational speaker, author and communications strategist, will present “Show Up, Stand Up, Speak Up.”
