Sara Boltinhouse Jones

Sara Boltinhouse Jones, a graduate of Spring Creek High School, is one of four students from Wayne County receiving a doctor of pharmacy degree from the Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on Friday. Jones, who was valedictorian of her high school class, has been class president of the PharmD Class of 2019 and on Wednesday evening presented the senior superlatives and remarks at the PharmD graduation dinner.

Four Wayne County students will graduate Friday with doctor of pharmacy degrees from Campbell University College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, one of them speaking at the graduation dinner held Wednesday evening.

Sara Boltinhouse Jones is the 2019 class president and addressed her classmates and presented the senior superlatives at the PharmD graduation dinner.

She graduated from Spring Creek High School in 2012, where she was valedictorian, and has continued her education at Campbell, receiving a bachelor of science in clinical research in 2015.

Also earning doctor of pharmacy degrees are Missy Bailey, Courtney McGowan and Lewis Elwood (Woody) Sasser III.

Bailey is a 2008 graduate of Rosewood High School. She graduated from Wayne Community College in 2010 with an associate in applied science degree in dental hygiene.

McGowan, a 2011 graduate of Charles B. Aycock High School, earned a bachelor of science in clinical research degree from Campbell University in 2015.

Sasser, who graduated from Wayne Christian School in 2011, received an associate in arts degree from Wayne Community College in 2013 and a bachelor of science in general sciences from Campbell in 2016.

Also during the same pharmacy ceremony, Bailey and Sasser will graduate with their master of business administration degree, or MBA.
