MPO looking at transportation needs
What do you want the Goldsboro transportation system to look like in the next five to 25 years?
The Goldsboro Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization, MPO, in partnership with the city of Goldsboro and member jurisdictions is updating the region’s 30-year transportation plan and asking for input.
A public workshop will be conducted from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the Goldsboro Event Center,1505 S. Slocumb St. People can drop-in to learn more about the MPO’s regional strategy for a connected transportation system that accommodates existing and future mobility needs.
The 2045 Metropolitan Transportation Plan will help identify projects and programs that can be reasonably implemented through the year 2045.
The regular meeting of the Commission on Community Relations and Development scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday is rescheduled to 6 p.m. Wednesday in the Anteroom of City Hall at 214 N. Center St.
