The Goldsboro library reopened for regular business hours Monday after being closed more than two weeks due to staffing shortages.
The library, at 1001 E. Ash St., is now open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, said Joel Gillie, Wayne County public affairs director. Library materials can be reserved online at www.wcpl.org or by phone at 919-735-1824 and picked up at curbside.
“We want to thank our patrons for their patience and understanding as we underwent a temporary staffing shortage,” said Donna Phillips, library director. “We look forward to welcoming our patrons back into the library for services.”
