A Dunn woman accused of breaking and entering crimes in other counties was arrested by Wayne County deputies.
Crystal Lynn Williams, 40, of Lee Johnson Road, Dunn, was arrested and charged Thursday with felony breaking and entering a motor vehicle, felony financial card theft and misdemeanor larceny, according to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office.
She was booked in the Wayne County jail under a $30,000 secured bond.
On May 11, at deputies received a report about a vehicle that was broken into at a business in northern Wayne County.
A financial card and other items were stolen from the vehicle, deputies said.
Detectives started investigating the case and learned that Williams was involved with other crimes in surrounding counties.
Williams was arrested in Johnston County on pending charges and placed in the Johnston County Detention Center where she was later served with the Wayne County charges, according to the sheriff’s office.
