Dennis Harold Lee, 64, died Friday evening at Wayne UNC Health Care.
Born in Wayne County, he was the son of the late Joseph Ellis Lee and Edna Doris Thompson Lee.
A private time of remembrance to celebrate Dennis’ life will be held with family and close friends.
Dennis is survived by his children, Christopher and Kristie Lee, Kevin and Amanda Lee, Shannon and Michael Wiggins and Michael and Lee Ann Lee; his brothers, Bob Lee and Troy Lee; a sister, Brenda Champion; 12 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Emily Virginia Warrick Privott, 84, died Wednesday at home.
Born in Wayne County, she was the daughter of the late Leslie Elton Warrick Sr. and the late Edith Virginia Hedgecock Warrick.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Mack Harvel Privott, and a son, Ben Privott.
Emily was a member of First Baptist Church, where she was formerly the church hostess, one of the first women deacons, a kindergarten teacher and a longtime Girl Scout leader.
Her favorite job of all was taking care of her family.
She was a 1952 graduate of Goldsboro High School and a 1956 graduate of Guilford College with a degree in elementary education.
A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, with Dr. Glenn Phillips Jr. officiating. Burial will follow in Willowdale Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall and at other times at the home.
Mrs. Privott is survived by her children, Edie Privott Jeziorski and husband, Mike, Mike Privott and his wife, Mary Clair, Jenny Privott Bunn and her husband, Kevin, and Allan Privott and wife, Michele; her grandchildren, Kait and Jake Wallace, John Jeziorski, Will Jeziorski, Noah Privott, Georgia Privott, Hilary and Jeff Guernier, Graham and Taylor Bunn, Mack Privott and Tighe Privott; and a great-grandchild, Cooper Wallace.

Theresa Sharon Stallings, 62, LaGrange, passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2018, at Vidant Medical Center following a brief and sudden illness.
Theresa was born Oct. 9, 1956, the daughter of Burgess L. and Bonna Lee Hardy Stallings.
She was a lifelong resident of the Jason community, and had been a very active member of Jason Fire Department.
Theresa was employed with RHA at Bear Creek, the former Howell’s Child Care. She had a genuine calling in helping others, and also a deep love for animals and pets.
She was preceded in death by her father, Burgess Lee Stallings Sr., and uncle, Monty Hilbourn.
Her surviving family includes her mother, Bonna H. Stallings; brother, Burgess Lee Stallings Jr. (Annis) of Snow Hill; niece, Stacey Stallings Sutton (Chad) of Goldsboro; great-nieces, Harper Sutton, Finley Sutton and Grayson Sutton; aunt, Belinda H. Hilbourn of LaGrange; uncle, Edwin Hardy (Joyce) of LaGrange; and her little dog, Tiny.
Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, at Fairview Cemetery in LaGrange, with the Rev. Edward Thornton officiating.
The family will receive friends informally Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jason Volunteer Fire Department. In keeping with Theresa’s casual manner, you are encouraged to dress casually and comfortably.
