A man and woman were robbed at gunpoint as they left their apartment at the reserve at Bradbury Place Thursday evening.

A police report said the pair walked out of the residence, located inside the apartment complex at 532 W. New Hope Road, and were stopped by three black men at about 7:04 p.m.

The three suspects then forced their way into the apartment at gunpoint. One of the suspects reportedly struck the male victim on his head and the side of his face with a firearm, injuring him.

He had to be taken to Wayne UNC Health Care for treatment.

According to a police report, the suspects got away with a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, an iPhone 7, car keys and $300.

The report does not provide a more specific description of the suspects.

The case is under investigation by the Goldsboro Police Department.
