Wayne County Emergency Medical Services personnel took Randall to Wayne UNC Health Care and later to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville for treatment of his injuries, Henry said.
Officers found Brooks inside the house with gunshot wounds, Henry said. He was pronounced dead on scene.
Police arrested and charged Manyele Devon Lofton, 43, of Goldsboro, with murder and attempted murder on June 24, Henry said. He was placed at the Wayne County jail without bond, according to police reports.
