The University of Mount Olive will hold a conference on human trafficking March 26 at 7 p.m. “For Freedom” will take place in Rodgers Chapel at the university.

Speakers will include John Roberts, an investigator for trafficking operations in Cambodia with International Justice Mission; Erin Blondel, assistant United States attorney who represents the government in human trafficking cases in North Carolina; and Luke Hinson, regional student coordinator with International Justice Mission based in North Carolina.

Participants will learn about the reality of human trafficking both globally and locally, and what they can do to help fight it.

The event is free and open to the public.
